Muff Potter is back with their new album, “Klepto.” It’s already the ninth studio album from the band, which was founded in 1993 in Rheine, Westphalia, and has been based in Berlin for many years. The band’s success has always—and certainly first and foremost—been rooted in their magnificent lyrics, which are so deeply rooted in everyday life that everyone (really, everyone!) can relate to them here and there. Added to this is their down-to-earth nature. Muff Potter are self-taught musicians born out of necessity who, over the past decades, have been able to accompany their audience through growth, doubt, and perseverance—celebrating unexpected successes as well as failing to live up to their own high standards.
