The Schmiere Adventure – 76 Years of Cabaret & Satire at the Schmiere – 2-for-1 Tickets
Die Schmiere
A special event... because 76 years of unsubsidized theater in Frankfurt is no small feat! A bit of history, a bit of reminiscing about the good old days... something halfway between a reading and a chat. To mark the 76th anniversary of the small but exquisite satirical theater “Die Schmiere” in downtown Frankfurt, Effi B. Rolfs—daughter of founder Rudolf Rolfs—has compiled texts, jokes, and headlines, and will present this potpourri on stage with Matthias Stich and Gabriele Meyer from the Schmiere team.

The “young” Schmiere team led by Effi B. Rolfs and Matthias Stich has been working together since 1990 with a changing lineup and has created many cabaret programs together, bringing them to the Schmiere stage. Matthias Stich will also be one of the partners on stage at this anniversary event.
