Alte Oper Frankfurt

Christian Thielemann and the Staatskapelle Berlin will present two works by Richard Strauss in Frankfurt that combine elegance, virtuosity, and sonic sophistication. For Thielemann, Strauss remains a contemporary whose music blends profound beauty with subversive power.
Finnish soprano Camilla Nylund rounds out the program with her unique sensitivity to Strauss’s musical drama. Known for her acclaimed performances in *Der Rosenkavalier*, *Die Frau ohne Schatten*, and *Arabella*, she captivates audiences with the expressiveness and tonal beauty of her demanding soprano roles.

Program: Richard Strauss “Four Last Songs” & “An Alpine Symphony, Op. 64”

Featuring: Staatskapelle Berlin, Christian Thielemann (conductor), Camilla Nylund (soprano).
