Brotfabrik Kulturprojekt 21 e.V.

Jeffrey Lewis & The Voltage blend indie rock, folk, and garage rock with an artistic DIY spirit. Founded in New York in 1998 by singer-songwriter and comic artist Jeffrey Lewis, the project has evolved into a cult band that tours internationally. Their distinctive sound is paired with verbose, often politically subversive lyrics and humorous drawings and comics, which are also part of their live shows. Their latest album, “The Even More Freewheelin’ Jeffrey Lewis,” was released in 2025 and produced by Roger Moutenot, who has previously worked with Yo La Tengo and Lou Reed. Live, Jeffrey Lewis, Mallory Feuer, Kait Pelkey, and Brent Cole combine a love of musical experimentation with raw charm and original visual art.
