Known for her keen powers of observation, Stefani Kunkel once again brings life’s tragicomic moments to life with great versatility in her new solo show. Hessischer Rundfunk describes Kunkel’s performance as “wonderfully satirical and delightfully funny.” And all this in her early 40s! Or rather, mid-40s. Some claim she’s probably in her late 40s. But that’s just a guess from a distance and in dim lighting. But it’s not just aging that the various female characters in Kunkel’s new program have to contend with. They grapple with life and the madness of everyday existence itself.

Whether as an aging diva, an overwhelmed employee, or a dedicated volunteer—each of Kunkel’s characters has her own strategy for defying the turbulent pitfalls of life and aging. A show that embraces its laugh lines!
