Die Fabrik

For several years now, “Der Temporäre Elektronische Salon” has been taking place at various venues throughout Frankfurt, always featuring electronic, improvised music created in the moment, with ever-changing lineups. On select occasions, the Salon takes on its most danceable form: live music and a DJ—DER SALON TANZT! Following last year’s unforgettable evening at the Jazz Festival’s club night at the MAK, this time the event features one more instrument. Three live musicians meet two turntables. Acoustic and electronic samples inspire each other to create, in time with the beat, something much greater than the mere sum of its parts. Hybrid Stylez, dub drums, basslines, scratches, electric reeds, and samples ranging from art to pop—it all flows!

Featuring: Pedo Knopp (aka DJ Kosmik Kat), Oliver Leicht, Matteo Scrimali, Hans Glawischnig (bassist for the hr Big Band).
