Since 1806, Das Rad in Seckbach has been an institution in Frankfurt’s apple wine culture and is therefore celebrating its 220th anniversary this year! At Frankfurt’s oldest apple wine bar with its own pressing facility, 100 percent of the apple wine is still pressed on-site, and authentic cuisine—featuring traditional and innovative Frankfurt dishes made with regional ingredients—is served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

At the Cider Pressing Festival on the holiday, there will be double the celebration: in addition to live cider pressing demonstrations in an autumnal atmosphere, there will also be Hessian specialties such as Süßen, apple wine, and the legendary suckling pig, as well as live music and face painting for children. Admission is free.
