As we all know, a musician’s path is always straightforward. Just a quick stop at the gas station, a brief detour back because the tie is missing, missing the bus, and as a result, stranded in front of the supermarket on a folding bike because someone called whom you didn’t want to talk to at all. The sound engineer is sick tonight, the instrument case is empty, and you’re 5 cents short for a beer. That’s why bassists play the ukulele, composers work as lyricists, and punks play jazz in suits.
