The “Kino Kulinarisch” series, curated by filmmaker Daniel Brettschneider, presents the film “Glennkill: A Sheep Mystery,” starring Hugh Jackman and Emma Thompson, among others, and based on the novel by Leonie Swann. Featuring the German dubbing voices of Anke Engelke and Bastian Pastewka.
Every evening, shepherd George reads mystery stories to his beloved sheep, assuming they don’t understand a word of it. But when a mysterious incident disrupts the peaceful life on the farm, the sheep realize they must take charge of the investigation themselves. So they follow the trail of evidence and track down human suspects. In the process, they prove that even sheep can be brilliant at solving crimes. A new, witty mystery of a somewhat different kind!

An Irish stew made with beef will be served—along with a vegetarian version featuring lentils and king oyster mushrooms. Price: €17.50 each. Desserts for €5 each round out the movie night.
