Büro Sapiens - Satire at the theater t-raum, Offenbach - 2for1-tickets
"Büro Sapiens," a tongue-in-cheek take on the 9-to-5 grind, modern business nonsense, and the madness of optimization, is being performed in the small Theater im t-raum. Directed by Sarah C. Baumann, Frank Geisler takes on the role of sales representative Michael Schmitt, who—out of sheer desperation on the eve of his upcoming presentation—got senselessly drunk and is now talking himself into a corner in front of the board and his colleagues.
He draws comparisons between Neanderthals and mammoth hunts and today’s office culture, falls in love with the charming Victoria, explains what it takes to make a successful trip to the cafeteria, rants about office intrigues and management strategies, satirizes team meetings, and much more. All of this unfolds at breathtaking speed, with plenty of theatrical and verbal wit. An extremely funny comedy night, not just for those who’ve ever seen the inside of an office.
