Kultur in Bad Vilbel

The medieval moated castle, located in the heart of Bad Vilbel on the banks of the Nidda River, is once again offering a diverse program this season in a historic, rustic setting. Bavarian cabaret artist and singer-songwriter Georg Ringsgwandl will be performing this evening:

Schawumm! That’s the sound the package delivery driver makes when he slams the side door of his van shut. A sound sample of this is immortalized in “Götterbote,” a song about the hectic workday of a delivery driver. Schawumm! The world is full of disasters, but here, optimism permeates the program. Joy and sorrow, love in the big city and out in the countryside. Decent fun, no nonsense. Microplastics in the body. Songs for the time before and after death. Not just new ones, but also good old favorites from the first twelve albums.
2026 is an anniversary year: forty years ago, the first Ringsgwandl album was released, titled *Das Letzte*. The smart and savvy will keep the evening free and wonder what R and his colleagues are up to on stage.
