Two sisters are bringing French pastry-making to Kaiserstrasse. With Café Sa‘SIS Daily, the family-run business from Bad Soden is opening its fourth location in Frankfurt—this time, a boulangerie with a to-go concept. “Sa’SIS” stands for “the sisters.” Alina Kupfer and her sister Eliza Klügling are the second generation to run Café Sa‘SIS, so their passion for confectionery and patisserie was practically instilled in them from birth. Their parents have been running the family business since 1992, initially under the name Café Bonjour and later also as Café Merci.

The menu ranges from open-faced sandwiches and baked goods like croissants, petit pain, and quiche to cakes and tarts. They also serve coffee from their own roastery, LeBean in Bad Soden, roasted from an espresso blend featuring beans from Brazil and Uganda. Alternatives such as oat cappuccino or a decaffeinated version are also available. For boulangerie fans—and anyone who wants to become one—a stop in the station district is definitely worth it.
