With “Between the Bars” and “Between the 80’s,” Plewka and Schmedtje have already enchanted their audiences in numerous sold-out shows over the past few years. Now the duo is returning to the stage with their new program “Between the Lights,” which includes an EP. The program features songs about death. Tracks like “Killing Me Softly,” “The End,” and “Wonderful Life” take listeners on an emotional journey through their own existence—though, of course, not without celebrating the joyful moments in between. An evening that approaches the theme of farewell in a heartfelt way, sometimes in major keys, sometimes in minor. There will be moments of reflection, healing, tears, and laughter. In the end, it’s an invitation to embrace life. Sing-alongs are encouraged!
