Arguably the world’s most famous love story—but not quite what you’d expect! Bernd Lafrenz, a master of Shakespearean comedy, transforms the tragedy into a virtuoso one-man show brimming with humor and theatrical flair. In the role of the endearingly lisping Balthasar—descendant of Romeo’s servant and proud owner of “Balthasar International Courier Services (since 1423)”—Lafrenz takes the audience on a whirlwind journey through “that whole business from back then.” Between fascination and tears of laughter, you’ll experience Romeo and Juliet live and up close—right up to two theatrically magnificent, hilariously tragic deaths on stage.
