Katharina Kollmann, also known as Nichtseattle, is one of the most extraordinary songwriters working today. She has firmly established herself on the cultural scene, if not before, then certainly with her double album *Haus*. As a singer-songwriter, choir director, and co-founder of a collective housing project, she blends folk and indie rock with personal experiences and political observations. Influences from East German singer-songwriters like Gerhard Schöne meet the American sound of the Pixies. Her songs are raw, unvarnished, and moving—free of false sentimentality, yet rich with layered melodies, guitar noise, and a unique blend of vulnerability and optimism. For fans of Bardo Pond, Cat Power, Mount Eerie, Mutter, Die Erde, Ricky King, and Avril Lavigne.
Lineup: Katharina Kollmann (vocals, guitar), Sönke Torpus (guitar, background vocals), Juliane Graf (bass, background vocals), Sebastian Albin (drums), Gregor Lener (flugelhorn).
