Kulturhaus Frankfurt

The two sisters, Elli and Anna, reunite at their parents’ home after many years. Elli had stayed behind; Anna had gone out into the world. Amid the heated back-and-forth, her past catches up with her—abuse, neglect, indifference—and threatens to engulf them both. Everything is brought to the surface, no matter how deeply it’s buried; nothing remains hidden. Before our very eyes, we see two women fighting—with malice, love, but above all with a healthy dose of fun—over who has led the better—the more righteous—life. Is this a clash with the past, or rather a conversation with their own present?
