For over 30 years, Mnozil Brass has been bridging the worlds of Johann Strauss, Frank Sinatra, Queen, and Prince with virtuoso brass music and plenty of humor. In “Strau$$,” the seven-member ensemble pays tribute to the “Waltz King” and his knack for catchy melodies, musical boundary-pushing, and great entertainment. A musical program that is as surprising as it is humorous unfolds, moving between classical grandeur and popular lightheartedness. With brilliant technique, incisive arrangements, and a healthy dose of self-deprecating humor, Mnozil Brass reveals the many facets of Strauss—right down to the “naked truth.”
