Peter Kunz is a stand-up comedian from Hesse whose humor is winning over the whole country. He’s generally a laid-back guy. But woe betide anyone who orders apple wine with Coke. That’s when things can really escalate—sorry, HESScalate. In his brand-new show, Peter Kunz once again takes the audience on a journey through life’s absurdities, big and small. Everything he tells has either really happened to him—or is pure fiction. Whether at the legendary Quatsch Comedy Club or during his acclaimed performances across the country—Kunz takes his audience back to the crazy ’80s, the wild ’90s, and right into the completely bonkers madness of today. With his social media series “Hessian for Beginners,” he has captivated well over 3 million people. Casually Hessian—yet sometimes on the verge of HESScalation!

Perfect culinary delights are provided by Solzer apple wine, the Baumann or Martus butcher shops with their delicious sausages, the Eifler bakery with its unmistakable “Wasserweck,” Dünker wine (with what, I wonder?), and the Possmann Winery with the best an apple can become: Ebbelwoi produced especially for the event!
