"Fisch sucht Fahrrad," Germany’s most famous singles party, celebrated its big comeback at the end of last year! In the ’90s, "Fisch sucht Fahrrad" was a cult event in Frankfurt. After that, the party toured Germany and received widespread media coverage—until online dating changed the scene. Today, in an era of dating burnout and digital overload, one thing is clear: we need real places to meet people again. That’s exactly what “Fisch sucht Fahrrad” is bringing back—with a new look and the same old energy. No filters, no distractions: the dating party for real connections.

After the summer break, the party continues at a new, colorful, and stylish venue: Fortuna Irgendwo! Spanning two levels, the venue offers plenty of space for speed-dating rounds, a large dance floor, and cozy seating areas. The adjacent, covered summer garden—with Caribbean flair, warm string lights, and plenty of greenery—creates the perfect atmosphere for striking up a conversation in a relaxed setting and getting to know new people.

The evening begins on a relaxed note: an awareness team welcomes guests and ensures a safe and relaxed atmosphere. Then the speed dating begins in moderated rounds, where meeting new people feels effortless rather than stressful. Quality over quantity. This is followed by a Latin dance class with simple steps and no pressure or need to perform. And suddenly, connections are made. On the dance floor, the DJ plays the latest hits, Latin vibes, soul-pop, and disco classics. And the highlight: Upon entry, each guest receives a personal number that can be worn throughout the evening. Using this number, guests can leave messages at the “Fisch sucht Fahrrad” post office and/or arrange a date at the bar.

Getting there is easy: Parking is available right in the Union Parkhaus. Alternatively, take tram line 11 to the Schwedlerstraße stop; from there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk.
