Open-air yet covered—at this year’s summer concert series at the Hanau Amphitheater, many stars will once again be putting on memorable concerts:

There are very few artists who can essentially perform an entire concert consisting exclusively of No. 1 hits—Phil Collins is one of them. Phil Collins is undoubtedly one of the greatest figures in rock and pop history. He first rose to prominence in the 1970s as the drummer for Genesis, where—alongside Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Steve Hackett, and Mike Rutherford—he helped define what would later take the world by storm as progressive rock or art rock. Then in the ’80s, after Peter Gabriel left the band, Genesis entered its most commercially successful phase with Phil Collins as frontman and lead singer, producing global hits such as “Mama,” “Follow You, Follow Me,” “Jesus He Knows Me,” “I Can’t Dance,” “No Son of Mine,” “Invisible Touch,” and “Land of Confusion.” And, of course, as a solo artist with no less famous global hits such as “In The Air Tonight,” “Easy Lover,” “Against All Odds,” “Another Day in Paradise,” and so on…
The musical perfectionists of the tribute band Feel Collins, led by frontman Markus Kunkel—whose voice is a faithful replica of Phil Collins’—shine in their shows thanks to their closeness to the original and extreme authenticity. What makes this concert show special is the combination of Phil Collins and Genesis songs. The legendary British artist’s solo and band careers thus come together to create a fascinating and unforgettable experience!
