And yet the audience can expect a full-bodied comedy that has everything that makes the Weißes Rössl so special: heartbreaking agony of love and squealing happiness, tongue-in-cheek Alpine kitsch and genuine sentimentality.

Sabine Fischmann and Michael Quast in all roles, Rhodri Britton/Markus Neumeyer on the piano. Singspiel in three acts by Hans Müller and Erik Charell, vocal lyrics by Robert Gilbert. Music by Ralph Benatzky with musical interludes by Robert Stolz, Robert Gilbert, Bruno Granichstaedten and Hans Frankowski.
