For many people, music is an essential part of their lives and they associate important memories or key experiences with a very specific work. Roland Kaehlbrandt and Uwe Paulsen present their favorite pieces, accompanied by students from the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and moderated by Prof. Ernst August Klötzke.

Roland Kaehlbrandt is a linguist, publicist and passionate friend of the German language. With wit and humor, he shows how much beauty, sound and power there is in German. In his new book "Von der Schönheit der deutschen Sprache. A Rediscovery", he invites us to listen to and enjoy the language in a new way. We are excited to see how he will address the relationship between language and music in his music request!

The second guest of the morning is Uwe Paulsen, science and culture policy spokesman for the Greens in the Römer. From 1994 to 1997 and 1999 to 2001, Uwe Paulsen was spokesman for the board of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen Frankfurt. He has been a member of the City Council since 1997 and has been a member of the Committee for Economic Affairs, Law and Women and the Committee for Culture, Science and Sport since September 2021.
