Opera(rette) for Everyone! – A Humorous Song Recital at the Kaiserpfalz Franconofurd at the Cathedral – 2-for-1 Tickets
Amid the oldest surviving architectural remains in Frankfurt—the former Archaeological Garden between the Cathedral and the Römer—the fifth "franconofurd Summer" event series, initiated by the Archaeological Museum and the "Friends of the Archaeological Museum" support association, featuring readings, concerts, and panel discussions. Entertainingly hosted by Thomas Bäppler-Wolf, alias Bäppi:

The comedy opera and operetta evening “Oper(rette) sich wer kann!” is dedicated to the true stories behind *Die Fledermaus*, *Tannhäuser*, and *The Gypsy Baron*. Star tenor Stefan Vinke, the world’s best Siegfried (Bayreuth, MET, Vienna State Opera, La Scala) and soprano Sabine Finke will sing the most beautiful arias from the aforementioned works, while Bäppi tells you what really happened with Venus, the bristly beast, and pork bacon.
