The popular concert series “Merck Summer Gems” is entering its 15th year and once again offers a refreshing mix of diversity, sunshine, and festival vibes. Thanks to the support of the Darmstadt-based science and technology company Merck, exceptional national and international artists and bands will once again take the stage at Centralstation.

Mind Enterprises is the aesthetic universe of Turin-based producer Andrea Tirone. Inspired by the effervescent, synth-driven Italo disco of the late 1980s, groovy, disco-like basslines, hypnotic drum patterns, and cosmic keyboard odysseys define the project’s sound. Together with his musical partner Roberto Conigliaro, who shares Tirone’s taste in 1980s fashion and music, they have brought Italo disco to the world and to clubs. Their live sound thrives on hypnotic drum patterns, funky basslines, and analog synthesizers. Every piece of equipment on stage delivers a distinctive sound that shapes the overall picture—a pulsating, retro-futuristic soundscape where past and present effortlessly overlap.

In the laid-back festival courtyard at Carree, it’s the perfect place to kick off your evening starting at 6 p.m. The outdoor bar serves up delicious drinks, and Katz Records sets the musical tone for the evening from the DJ booth.
