Enjoy a balmy summer evening with a well-chilled drink. Experience music, literature, theater, and more live. These are the elements that have made the traditional “Hanauer Kultoursommer” a success story. This year, the festival kicks off once again with an attractive and varied program:

The NN THEATER KÖLN presents “Holmes & Watson—Who’s Afraid of the Black Dog?”, a theatrical spectacle of a special kind.
An ancient curse on the Baskerville family hangs like thick fog over the eerie Dartmoor: a hellish dog demon is said to have terrorized the people of the region for generations. Reality, or just a figment of fear? In any case, it’s fertile ground for dark schemes and secret dealings! But suddenly, another murder occurs; huge animal tracks are found next to the body… Time for Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson to tackle their toughest case yet! With expertise, ingenuity, courage, and wit, they show how to drain the swamp of fear. But beware! The investigation reveals: this crime comedy, with echoes of Victorian horror, aims to strike at your funny bone! Yet the specter of fear is already haunting the world, and laughter threatens to get stuck in your throat.
