For four decades, the Pixies have been shaping rock music with their unmistakable sound—a blend of raw energy, surreal soundscapes, and catchy melodies. Formed in Boston in 1986 by Black Francis, Joey Santiago, Kim Deal, and David Lovering, they became pioneers of alternative rock with albums like “Surfer Rosa” and “Doolittle” and influenced numerous artists, including Kurt Cobain.

With their anniversary tour “P40 – Celebrating 40 Years,” the Pixies are celebrating their extraordinary career this year. The audience can expect an intense live experience without elaborate staging—but with the concentrated power of their iconic songs and more recent works. The concerts in Germany offer the opportunity to experience one of today’s most influential bands live.
