For centuries, Hayn Castle and its outdoor stage have been known and loved as cultural venues. For six weeks, a diverse program of open-air events—including theater, opera, cabaret, concerts, variety shows, and readings—takes place there against an extraordinary backdrop.

“Zieh’ die Schuh’ aus,” “Frauen regier’n die Welt,” “In diesem Moment”—titles that made the exceptional artist Roger Cicero unforgettable. When his album “Männersachen” was released in 2006, no one could have guessed that the combination of big band sound and German-language lyrics would have such a lasting impact on the music scene. Swing in the pop charts—that was something new and remains just as unforgettable as Roger Cicero’s performance at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest. His untimely death shook fans, friends, and colleagues. On the tenth anniversary of his death in 2026, the former musicians of his band will reflect on their time together and take the audience on a musical journey through Cicero’s career—from the years before “Männersachen” to his greatest hits. Featuring swing, soul, groove, and the powerful big-band sound under the direction of Lutz Krajenski. Atrin Madani joins as the vocalist, interpreting Cicero’s songs in his own unique way and, together with the former backing band, paying tribute to an artist who continues to inspire many people to this day.
