Die Dramatische Bühne

This summer, the Dramatische Bühne is once again presenting plays from over 30 years of open-air festivals. The vision is a revival of the ludicrous, foolhardy theatrical dream as it has been dreamed since Shakespeare's time: Stories full of silliness and profundity at the same time, rich in costume, scenery and (lazy) theatrical magic, the splendor and wretchedness of comedy and sleaze theater, endearingly old-fashioned, hackneyed and glorious at the same time.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: All hell is breaking loose in the galaxy! Because Earth is being blown up to build an interplanetary bypass, Arthura Dent and her pals set out to save the universe. In the process, they encounter the interplanetary smuggler Zakod Beebleknox and the galactic bounty hunter Trillion, they fight with the vicious intelligence-destroying worms on Anataria 13, argue with depressed robots and melancholy planet designers.
A madcap science fiction tale, a crazy journey through the most diverse dimensions of absurdity.

The open-air site is located in the northern part of the park, near the Orthodox church, right next to the memorial obelisk of the Rothschild Palace. Access via Sebastian-Rinz-Straße coming from Miquelallee or via August-Siebert-Straße coming from the city center. Games are played in almost any weather. Friendly dogs are welcome. There is a selection of snacks and drinks at the bar - cash only.
