Reindeer snack on a few toadstools before fleeing the approaching cold, preceded by a group of nomads. On their way to the winter camp, they undertake one last great hunt ... Children are born, others die, the Venus of Willendorf is created. But does she really represent a goddess? Or was she a shaman's tool, an avatar for traveling through spirit worlds, as they are still found in myths and fairy tales today? Ulli Lust guides us through thousands of years of female activity and human creative power. In doing so, she explores a mythical continuum in which we are always reflected differently in our search for meaning.
