The program combines Tucholsky's texts, which are over a hundred years old, with music and shows how topical his observations remain. The focus is on recurring social crises - violence, politics and human abysses - as well as longing and the desire for a better life. Literature and music open up a new perspective on the cycle of history and make continuities and ruptures tangible.
