A milestone in German hip-hop: the Cologne duo "Retrogott" & "Hulk Hodn" created their own sound language with pointed punchlines and classic boom-bap aesthetics. Behind the names are "Kurt Tallert" and DJ "Hulk Hodn". Since the album "Jetzt schämst du dich!" (2007), "Retrogott" has stood for original lyrics and stylistic diversity - from punk to hip-hop. Numerous releases and international collaborations, for example with "Kool Keith" and "Motion Man", have cemented their reputation. Musical tradition combined with critical reflection on the present and always authentic.
