Rainbirds:Through The Web Of Time - 40 years of pop at the Electoral Palace, Mainz - 2for1-tickets
In 1986, the band "Rainbirds" presented a blueprint for sophisticated pop with "Blueprint". Even after four decades, the sound of the Berlin band led by singer and songwriter "Katharina Franck" goes straight to the heart. Their songs are tender, playful, sprawling and minimalist, always driven by the desire to be heard.
For the 40th anniversary, founding members "Katharina Franck" and "Michael Beckmann" return to the stage together with "Ulrike Haage", electric guitarist "Werner Neumann" and drummer "Dominique 'Gaga' Ehlert". Guests such as "Rodrigo González" and founding member "Wolfgang Glum" complete the anniversary series, which focuses on seven albums from the debut to "Yonder".
