Jaromír Typlt & Dirk Hülstrunk: Train by Train - Poetry Dialogue at the Romanfabrik - 2for1-Tickets
On the occasion of the Czech guest country appearance at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2026, two poets who cross borders in many respects will meet for a German-Czech poetry dialog. They will talk about the relationship between text, performance, music and visual art, about the unsaid and the possibilities of translation. They will also read/perform from their current works and show poetry videos.
Jaromír Typlt, Czech poet, performer and essayist, has been combining literature, music and visual art since the 1990s - winning awards including the Jirí Orten Prize. In addition to his poetry, he works as a curator and theorist with a focus on avant-garde and art brut.
Dirk Hülstrunk works as an author, sound poet and audio artist on intermedia projects between language, sound and space - from live electronic poetry to field recordings. Two influential voices of experimental contemporary art between Prague and Frankfurt.
