Luise Volkmann & Été Large: The Stories We Tell - Jazz Connects Festival at the Romanfabrik - 2for1-Tickets
Cologne saxophonist Luise Volkmann presents the album "The Stories We Tell" with her 13-piece ensemble Été Large. As an expressive storyteller, she combines powerful soundscapes with poetic sensitivity. Her music is more than just an artistic expression - it addresses social issues and has a lasting effect. The focus is on multi-layered compositions that juxtapose emotions and contrasts and create space for reflection. Volkmann's approach makes the complexity of human thought audible and invites an open, musical dialog.
The concert is part of the Jazz Connects Festival 2026, in collaboration with the Jazz Initiative Frankfurt. Made possible by the Kulturfonds Frankfurt/RheinMain.
