In his new program "Gagaland", Frank Fischer takes the audience on a journey through a strange country, whose weird inhabitants he brings to life with precise observation and subtle humour. Fischer encounters sinister Franconians, cheeky women from the Ruhr region and comes across and comes very close to madness when listening to a Saxon radio advertisement. He also explores the pressing questions of our time: Should we give artificial intelligence a chance if natural intelligence doesn't work? Why do we unintentionally make noises in old age? And why should we be skeptical when long-distance trains are suddenly on time? He effortlessly bridges the gap between major world politics and the absurdities of everyday life. Because whether it's presidents, celebrities or the sales clerk behind the sausage counter - they are all part of Gagaland!
