Heiko "Schotty" Schott's work begins where others vomit in horror. If there's a crime scene to clean up, he's on the spot. Wiping away blood, removing remains - no problem for the crime scene cleaner. The oddball Schotty often encounters very bizarre characters and the theater evening in the Langener Stadthalle accompanies him, offering amusing insights into the everyday working life of the employee of the Hamburg cleaning company Lausen and his philosophical conclusions. He has a very pragmatic relationship with death. Again and again he is reminded that there may be more to such a person than what has to be scrubbed away afterwards.

Three crime scenes are on the program:
Not over my sofa - Schotty is called to the villa of the rich widow Mrs. Hellenkamp. A burglar has died here when he fell down a flight of stairs while trying to escape. At least that's what the old lady claims...

A matter of taste - Psychotherapist Dr. Falkenbach was stabbed to death by one of her clients. Schotty is supposed to clean up the carnage. Then the ghost of Dr. Falkenbach suddenly appears to him and forces Schotty to have a therapeutic conversation.

Özgür - Crime scene cleaner Heiko Schotte meets the heavily pregnant Silke in a remote guesthouse. Schotty soon starts to panic, and not just because of the onset of her ruptured bladder: The North German wants to name her son Özgür.
