SUNBAP Vegan – Korean bowls in Frankfurt Bockenheim & Nordend – 2for1 on bowls
Sun Seo, a native of Korea and former opera singer from Seoul, has been delighting Frankfurt with home-made, vegan dishes for two years. In addition to the popular restaurant in Nordend, the second, larger location at Bockenheimer Warte offers indoor and outdoor seating in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Homemade classics such as the Dubu Kimchi Bowl meet Truffle Japchae, Mandu, Jeon and Tteokbokki. Everything is vegan. The coffee is made with beans from Backyard and the powder for various matchas comes directly from Korea.
The restaurant's Korean motto is: "Everyone eats sunbap" - the dishes are not just for vegans, but for everyone who loves good food, including allergy sufferers. Gluten-free dishes are available on request.
