"Is Is is a post-punk based band from Manchester. They became known in the Manchester music scene through word of mouth after performing in clubs such as "The Ritz", "Gorilla" and "The Deaf Institute". The band are coming to Frankfurt on their European tour and have their new album "Dagger" with them.

While the intrinsic, shadowy essence of "Ist Ist"'s signature sound remains unchanged, a host of new influences and inspirations permeate these 10 tracks with a striking sense of redefinition. From the lightning pop immediacy of "Warning Signs" to the sky-high synth tones of "The Echo" and the galloping rock swagger of "Burning" to the twinkling, sci-fi soundtrack-like "Encouragement" and the expansive atmosphere of "Song For Someone," "Dagger" shines with luminous melodies and concise hooks from the darkness.
