On a black velvet-lined "peep-box stage" in the Velvets Theater Wiesbaden, black-clad actors guide puppets and other objects through a narrow alley of light. Only the objects hit by the spotlights are visible to the audience, while the actors remain hidden in the darkness. This allows the most amazing effects to be created, blurring the boundaries with reality and transporting the audience into a world of magic and illusion full of poetry and enchantment.

Who doesn't know the story of the beautiful princess Snow White, her envious stepmother who wants Snow White's life, the merry seven dwarfs and the prince who, following the call of his heart, searches for Snow White and saves her from death with his love at the last minute.

But only with the Velvets are the seven dwarfs lovingly crafted puppets that enchant young and old with music and effects in this colorful set. Uniquely magical and wonderfully poetic.
