Three evenings full of music, encounters and spontaneous moments await visitors to the 9th Fabrik Jazz Festival - and, as always, in the best collaboration with the Jazz Initiative Frankfurt. Great musicians invite you to be surprised, inspired and moved by new sounds and by the great and important feeling of experiencing music live. This year, the concerts will take place in the St. Bonifatius concert hall in Sachsenhausen, which is now well-rehearsed and has an excellent sound.

The Danish drummer Kresten Osgood is considered an icon of European jazz and improvised music - with over a hundred recordings and an impressive list of companions. Now, for the first time, two members of the hr-Bigband will join Kresten Osgood on stage: Hans Glawischnig, part of the hr-Bigband since 2020, and Sebastian Scobel, the youngest member of the ensemble. To expand the trio, Scobel has invited two influential voices from the German jazz scene: Theresia Philipp, WDR Jazz Prize winner 2022 and Artistic Director of the Bundesjazzorchester, and Uli Kempendorff, one of the most distinctive voices on the Berlin scene.
