Opportunity makes love, thinks Minister of State Richard Willey and arranges an atmospheric tete-a-tete with an opposition secretary in a suite at the Westminster Hotel. But fate doesn't mean well for him, but all the better for the audience, who laughingly accompany the floundering Richard Willey in his crazy and literally breakneck attempts to hide his failed relationship from his wife, a suspicious hotel manager and, last but not least, a frequently unconscious detective.
