The Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt will continue its New Year's tradition at the Alte Oper Frankfurt in 2026 - this time under the motto "When the white lilacs bloom". Under the direction of Jens Troester, a program in the style of the Viennese New Year's concerts will be performed: Waltzes, polkas, lively marches and spirited dances. In addition to Johann Strauss with works such as Frühlingsstimmen and the Pizzicato Polka, the program includes Vivaldi's Spring and cheerful salon music from the early 20th century. Two soloists and Troester's charming moderation round off the evening on January 18, 2026 - a musical start to the new year.
