The lives of two men have gone completely off the rails: Tom is in the midst of a crisis of meaning and only finds some solace and peace alone on a lonely bench in the park for a few minutes a day. Alex, on the other hand, is mourning his deceased "Effi". The bench is his place of remembrance, a shrine to his loss. Both have failed in their lives. When they meet at the park bench, they try to assert their territorial claim to the park bench and dogmatically defend their opposing life plans. A deliciously absurd conflict develops with ever new, unexpected twists and astonishing revelations.

A pitch-black comedy by Keir McAllister about loneliness and the search for a safe place in a threatening world - emotional and profound, hilarious and touching at the same time.

During the interval, there will be a New Year's Eve buffet consisting of finger food (salmon rolls, spinach and feta puff pastry, fennel and polenta skewers, pasta salad, meatballs with mozzarella and tomatoes, mini muffins, fruit, cheese, etc.), savory and sweet, vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
