For years, the Feuerstein family’s carnival businesses have been bringing joy to children—and, by extension, their parents—at countless festivals. At the Frankfurt Mainfest, too, they’re sure to bring beaming smiles and genuine carnival fun!

During the Mainfest, Frankfurt’s banks of the Main transform into a festival district brimming with enjoyment and tradition. A colorful mix of traditional rides, regional specialties, and a diverse cultural program reflects Frankfurt’s unique atmosphere and invites visitors to explore, enjoy, and join in the festivities. Among the special highlights is the traditional “Fischerstechen” (fishermen’s joust): Brave participants in historical costumes compete against each other on boats—equipped with padded poles, ready for an exciting contest of skill and balance. Another highlight of the festival is the grand fireworks display on Monday evening. Against the impressive backdrop of the Main River, colorful light effects illuminate the Frankfurt sky, providing a festive finale to the Mainfest. Year after year, the Mainfest becomes an unforgettable experience for visitors from Frankfurt and the surrounding region.
