The children—Wendy, Joan, and Michael—tell their parents that it is Peter Pan who comes into their room at night through the open window to visit the sleeping children. However, when the nanny, Nana, tries to catch him, she can only grab his shadow before Peter flies away out the window. When he returns the following evening with his fairy friends Tinker and Bell, the children wake up, and Wendy helps Peter get his shadow back. He tells them that he never wants to grow up and persuades them to follow him to Neverland. There, they have many adventures with the Lost Boys, Peter’s friends. They help rescue Tiger-Lilly, the princess of the indigenous people, and fight against a group of pirates and their Captain Hook, who is terrified of a crocodile that has swallowed an alarm clock. Will Wendy, Joan, and Michael ever make it home again?

A production by the Dreieichschule Langen under the direction of Katrin Aurich, loosely based on the novel by Scottish author J.M. Barrie.
