Da Capo Alzey

The Da Capo Festival is always a cultural highlight on Alzey’s calendar of events. In the magnificent setting of the Alzey Schoßhof, the city of Alzey presents a top-class program featuring internationally renowned stars, groups, and ensembles.

British global superstar Paul Young will perform his only confirmed concert in Germany this year in Alzey at the Schlosshof Open Air! He helped shape the music of the 1980s with songs like “Come Back and Stay,” “Wherever I Lay My Hat,” and “Every Time You Go Away.” Even today, the 70-year-old Brit continues to captivate audiences with his distinctive voice and commanding stage presence. In addition to his classics, he’ll perform selected tracks from the album “Behind The Lens,” which musically brings together various stages of his long career.

Small local delicacies and beverages will be available for purchase on site. The event will take place regardless of weather conditions, as long as the organizer can safely manage the weather situation. Should weather conditions pose a risk to physical safety or health, the event will be immediately suspended or canceled. Rain capes will be sold on-site; umbrellas are not permitted.
