The popular concert series “Merck Summer Gems” is entering its 15th year and once again offers a refreshing mix of diversity, sunshine, and festival vibes. Thanks to the support of the Darmstadt-based science and technology company Merck, exceptional national and international artists and bands will once again take the stage at Centralstation.
Arguably the most distinctive voice in German rap presents powerful lyrics, gripping storytelling, and soulful beats with plenty of punch. At the start of his latest album, “Unzerstörbarer Sommer,” Curse builds on his defining trademark—his unmistakable voice. The songs blend optimism, personal observations, and life experience into an atmospheric body of work. With “The Art of Mcing,” high-energy beats, and plenty of throwback vibes, the audience can expect an intense live experience that bridges classic hip-hop and modern sounds.
In the laid-back festival courtyard at Carree, it’s the perfect way to kick off your evening starting at 6 p.m. The outdoor bar serves up delicious drinks, and Katz Records sets the musical tone for the evening from behind the mixing board.
