Film producer Daniel Brettschneider is once again presenting "Kino e Vino," an open-air movie series, this summer in the courtyard of Offenbach's Parkside Studios. The lively summer edition of “Kino Kulinarisch” combines favorite wines with complementary dishes and open-air cinema under the starry sky in a wonderful setting.

“Oh, That Gap, That Horrible Gap” is a stroke of luck! At age 20, Joachim is unexpectedly accepted into the renowned acting school in Munich and moves into the villa to live with his grandparents, Inge and Hermann. Amid the bizarre challenges of drama school and his grandparents’ eccentric, often alcohol-fueled rituals, Joachim tries to find his place in the world—without knowing what role he actually plays in it.
This film adaptation is at least as doubt-filled, devastating, comforting, funny, and liberatingly beautiful as Joachim Meyerhoff’s original novel. “Coming of Age” at drama school—hilarious and incredibly relatable! And one more thing: Senta Berger is the best actress in the world. At least!
