The COMOEDIA MUNDI Theatre & Music Festival once again offers a varied program in the theater tent on the banks of the Main this summer:
"Atlas - Interwoven Realities" is an interdisciplinary performance between theater, movement, music and fashion show. Four people with different backgrounds, languages and habits meet in a confined space - the stage. They cannot leave this space and have to get along with each other. This constellation gives rise to dynamics of curiosity and shyness, closeness and demarcation, interest and conflict. The characters negotiate questions of self and community, of individuality and belonging.
At the heart of the performance is the tension between boundaries and transitions - physical, emotional, cultural and social. Borders become visible as human constructs that can divide and connect at the same time. "Atlas - Interwoven Realities" aims to make it possible to experience that cultural diversity does not mean rupture, but rather opens up new perspectives and resonance spaces.
