Die Dramatische Bühne

With "Molière!", the Dramatische Bühne stages a theatrical walk through a comedy of lightness, surrounded by vain aristocrats, pedantic doctors and lecherous old men in exciting locations in the Rhine-Main region:
The audience walks with the actors through the grounds, which become a theater stage and the backyards of Paris. Molière can be seen in his kingdom of costume, make-up and scenery, his wandering years as a traveling juggler with his troupe, his brilliant rise at the court of Louis the 14th, his loves and his despairs. A pictorial arc of nagging divas, vain courtiers and lustful courtiers, a madcap ride through his plays, his life and his imagination.
